Our work with schools sees us deliver sports coaching sessions to children of all ages and abilities from a mixture of backgrounds. Foundation Sports works closely with schools to up skill their workforce to ensure the teaching staff in primary schools across the UK are confident and competent to deliver an effective PE lesson.
Foundation Sports allows all schools to be able to access professional coaching. We have created one of the country’s leading community schemes by delivering educational and sports related projects in schools.

After School Clubs
Whether your child wants to try a new sport, or you need an extra hour of childcare, our After School Clubs are there for you. We offer a wide range of different sports, including football, gymnastics, dodgeball, martial arts, boxing, athletics, cricket, multi-skills – and many more! Professionally qualified coaches with first aid and enhanced DBS qualifications deliver all Foundation Sports After School Clubs.
Holiday Sports Camps
Our camps encourage your child to try as many new sports as possible. Our camps reward outstanding sportsmanship with medals and trophies each day; this helps maintain our high standard of coaching and encourages children to make new friends.
Continuing Professional Development (CPD) – for experienced and newly qualified teachers
Does your school have any newly qualified teachers, or experienced teachers, who feel they'd like our support teaching PE? Or can we help to increase your teacher's confidence teaching a particular subject matter, for example, gymnastics or dance? PE

MoveIT! Project
34% of 11-year-olds are now obese – and this alarming percentage is on the rise! Our unique 6-week 'MoveIT! Project' has been developed to make children active and healthier during the course – and long-term. To help in achieving this outcome, we include the children's parents and guardians, inviting them to join us during the last week; the facts we supply generally delivers a real shock and motivates them to improve their children's diet and increase their activity levels.
Sports Ambassador Courses
This course is aimed at improving children’s leadership and creativity skills. We teach children how to play basic games during their lunchtime, and add to these sessions, using their own ideas and session plans. At the end of the course we select Sports Ambassadors and reward them with a Foundation Sports T-shirt and medal.
SEN Coaching
Foundation Sports provides special educational needs (SEN) coaching within primary schools across Dorset, focusing on fundamental movements and improving key ball skills. Our coaching helps to develop children’s coordination and confidence.
Home Education PE
We can supply specialist PE coaching for home-educated children, covering a number of different sports each term. We work with you to ensure your child gets the knowledge and skills they need to achieve, and understand the benefits of, good physical health.
Clever Never Goes
Foundation Sports have partnered up with the charity Clever Never Goes to give parents and teachers a tried-and-tested replacement for ‘stranger danger.’ We educate primary school aged children how to spot danger; rather than them assuming every stranger is a danger to them.

Award-winning community-focused coaching
Foundation Sports are an award-winning sports coaching company coaching a variety of sports across a number of schools and home educated children in Hampshire.
We have holiday camps during every school holiday at a number of different sports venues. All of our coaches are professionally qualified; hold enhanced DBS and First Aid qualifications.

The obesity rates in primary school children is at an all time high and on the rise, we are doing our very best to tackle this issue within Hampshire.
